Project Bag

This is my latest custom design job for a client who loves embroidery and wanted a functional way to take her projects on the go.  She requested reds, oranges and purples and free reign to come up with her one of a kind project bag.

Couture Sewing

Every once in a while I like to treat myself to a little me time and sew myself a couture garment. It takes time and patience and I have to keep reminding myself that it’s about the journey and to cherish the process.  I hope you enjoy this quick walkthrough!

Christening Gown

I received a request from a family member to have "something" made from her mother's wedding gown.  Even though there are no great-grandchildren yet, I decided to make them a christening gown.  The design I made has a removable lace pinafore so that it can be used for a boy or a girl.  I added a touch of hand embroidery on the collar.  I used the satin, lace and even the satin covered buttons from the back of the dress.
